Pepín was born in Asturias in ´73 and has lived between the Canary Islands and Asturias since 98. He currently works as a writer, storyteller and musician.
Since 2007 he has been telling stories for children, young people and adults in theatres, libraries, schools, institutes, parks and theatre cafés in the Canary Islands, Asturias and the Balearic Islands. He has done more than 60 storytelling sessions both alone and with other storytellers and musicians.

In 2014, he won third prize in the III International Microstory Competition "Cardenal Mendoza".

He has written the book "Pequeños cuentos del mundo" (Ed. José Arias Pepín, 2014), which gathers several of his own writings that he created for his storytelling sessions. His themes revolve around the environment, multiculturalism, the learning process and food.



 It was translated into English in 2015: "Little tales around the world" and into German: "Kurzgeschichten aus aller Welt, Geschichten für Kinder und Jugendliche" (2016).

In 2015, he wrote the book "Animals are my friends" (Ed. José Arias Pepín, 2016), a selection and adaptation of 12 popular stories from around the world both illustrated in color and also left in black and white for coloring.




In 2016, it was translated into English: "The animals are my friends" and into German: "Die Tiere sind meine Freunde".

In 2016, he created the children's audio book "Los animales son mis amigos" (Ed. José Arias Pepín, 2016) with original music and sound effects.

Later he wrote the bilingual book Spanish/English "Imaginario Literario/Literary Imaginarium" (Ed. José Arias Pepín e Imaginario Psicotropical, 2018), also available in Spanish/German "Imaginario Literario / Mystische Zeichnungen - Fantasievoll Erzählt" (Ed. José Arias Pepín e Imaginario Psicotropical, 2018)

Regarding music, he has participated in the recording of two albums: "In Sufi Siente"(2012) by San Borondón Cyclo Fanfaria and "Live Session"(2019) by Gomera Flamenco Trio.
